I've been going to Safeway for years. They always do good work. Nice people and fair prices.

I got referred to this place by Tom at Alternative Car Solutions. I got a new set of 4 tires from them in November of 2024. A few months after I got these new tires from them around March of 2025, my car slipped on ice in a slow curve into a parking lot, resulting in repairs costing over $11000. It's now a year and half out and I find out from another repair place that Downtown Safeway put the cheapest tires possible on my car despite the fact that I specifically asked for tires that would be helpful in the winter, which likely is what led to my accident and needing $11000 repair. I also found out they put balancing beads in my tires which are not standard good care for a regular sedan. I now have to get all four tires replaced again anyway and pay another $1000 for a new set of tires. I got scammed here.

Safeway is definitely the Wrong Way to go. Not Only was the service on my vehicle incomplete; I found out quickly that they had created other problems which they couldn't fix. Also, I noticed right away that there were scratches & small dents on my vehicle's exterior, and apparently someone (s) felt the need to help themselves to whatever was under the back seats since everything was scattered all over the floor. I can continue about the total lack of customer service, etc... But, You all get the point. My suggestion is to find someplace that is Truly Safe to take your Car or Truck unless you want to end up dissatisfied/ Disappointed as I am. You've Been Warned.

Mark and his staff do a great job. I've been coming here for years. Highly recommended. If you need wheels tires or specialty items, you can't beat Safeway tire.
